Ultrasound scanning of the carotid arteries is the single best predictor of stroke and heart disease. Millions of Americans are unaware that they have risk factors for stroke, or that they may be at serious risk of death from vascular disorders. These diseases are generally symptomless until a catastrophic event occurs, such as a stroke or ruptured aneurysm. In fact, half of all stroke victims have no prior symptoms. “HealthYes! is the only company providing ultrasound images and detailed reports back to the client. This information guarantees that your physician gets the full story from your screening.” HCA Affiliated Clear Lake Regional Medical Center is led by a team of more than 1,900 employees and 630 physicians. This team is supported by a notable Board of Trustees, comprised of highly respected and accomplished physician and community business leaders. The role of Clear Lake Regional Medical Center’s Board of Trustees is to assist in developing the hospital’s strategic direction and focus, and evaluating the hospital’s delivery of health care, and development of new service lines and programs that ensure our patients are provided the most advanced technology and cost-effective health care close to home.
