Webster, TX – Clear Lake Regional Medical Center and the City of Webster joined forces to honor local Emergency Medical Services personnel this week in conjunction with National EMS Appreciation Week. Webster Mayor Floyd Myers presented an official proclamation on behalf of the city – recognizing the outstanding service provided by EMS personnel, and commending the significant contributions they make to the community. “We rely on these men and women in our hour of greatest need,” said Mayor Myers.
“EMTs, paramedics – and all the First Responders – serve a vital role on the front lines of our healthcare system,” said Stephen K. Jones, Jr., CEOF of Clear Lake Regional Medical Center. “Their superior level of service and collaboration with us is so important. And they provide an invaluable service to the entire community.”
In addition to numerous local EMS crews and their chiefs, CLRMC’s Pediatric Emergency Department Medical Director, James Vincent, MD., CLRMC Emergency Department physicians, nurses and staff also were on hand for the proclamation and celebration.
