Clear Lake Regional Medical Center proudly announces that it is the first hospital in the region to acquire the all-new da Vinci Si Surgical System – the latest in surgical robotic technology. Clear Lake Regional Medical Center will utilize the Si for cardiovascular, gynecological and urological robotic surgery.
The Si is the newest version of the revolutionary da Vinci Robotic Surgical System and is designed to provide additional clinical benefits and efficiency in the operating room. CLRMC has been performing robotic surgeries for several years. The all new Si offers features such as enhanced 3D, high-definition vision of the operative field, superior visual clarity of tissue and anatomy, and surgical dexterity and precision far greater than the human hand. These technological advancements will provide CLRMC surgeons with unparalleled precision, dexterity and control that enable a minimally invasive approach for many complex surgical procedures.
"We are extremely pleased to bring the very latest in robotic technology to the Bay Area Houston community," said Stephen K. Jones, CEO of Clear Lake Regional Medical Center. "The da Vinci truly sets the standard in state-of-the-art surgical devices and will enable our patients to have a faster recovery, less blood loss, and less pain after surgery."
